How to Wear A Plus Size Bra with Confidence
Determine the optimal bra size
Finding the right bra is often more difficult than expected. Especially in the large sizes must be given functionality in conjunction with the highest wearing comfort to feel comfortable, loved and desired. If your bra gives the optimal support, this can give relief to the shoulders and back without constricting or cutting in, giving you a more upright, confident posture.
With our seasonal collections, however, we not only want to support you with functionality, but at the same time enchant you with our models and transform your silhouette into a special eye-catcher.
Tip:
We have a positive effect on others when we ourselves feel comfortable in our skin. A beautiful bra with optimal fit, which puts our female curves excitingly in scene, gives a charming feeling and strengthens self-confidence.
How to wear your bra correctly
1. The bar should lie flat on the breastbone between the cups and not protrude.
Tip:
If the bar is pushed away from the bust and ribcage, the cup is too small here and a larger cup should be chosen.
2. A fitting cup should enclose the bust and allow the bar to flush with the breast.
Tip:
If the breast bulges out of the side of the bra or cuts into the top of the breast, a larger cup is needed. If the cup protrudes or even folds, a smaller cup should be chosen here.
3. The underbust band is the most important support for the bust, because 80% of the weight is held by it. Therefore, it should fit tightly under the bust, in a horizontal line without cutting in or riding up at the back.
Tip:
If the back pulls up, a smaller underbust size must be chosen, otherwise the weight will be absorbed by the straps. This can cause back discomfort.
4. Bra straps support the underbust band and catch 20% of the weight. Therefore, they should be adjusted so that they neither slip off the shoulders nor cut into the shoulders.
Tip:
All breasts are shaped differently and are usually not the same size. Therefore, both straps should be adjusted differently so that, for example, the strap on the smaller breast can be tightened more than on the larger one.
Determining the bra size
1.Chest circumference: Wear a non-wadded bra and use a soft measuring tape. Measure completely horizontally around the strongest part of the breast. Make sure the tape measure is at the same height everywhere and now take the measurement.
2.Underbust circumference: Please measure horizontally along the lower base of the breast around the rib cage. Make sure that the tape measure is at the same height everywhere and take the measurement.
To put on the bra correctly
1.With a new bra, always choose the first hook first, so that after some time can be tightened even more.
2.Place your breast in the bra so that the cup perfectly encloses the breast.
3.Slide the strap adjuster up as far as is comfortable for you.
Caring for the bra properly
Please always follow the excellent care instructions on the care label.
Basically, it is recommended to hand wash underwire & cup bras and use liquid detergent.
Other bras can also be machine washed as follows: Choose a care program (gentle cycle) with the lowest spin speed, with the addition of mild detergent and a maximum temperature of 30°C.
Please use a fine mesh wash bag
Please close your bra during machine washing to avoid possible damage to the material.
Please never dry your bra in the dryer and do not put it on the heater, but hang it up to dry.
