This is how B cup size and C cup size can be described.
Why do we compare just these two breast sizes? Because they are the most common on average. 44 percent of women in Germany have a B cup and 28 percent a C cup. These two breast sizes are also the most desired in cosmetic surgery. What do breasts look like in different sizes?
Well, there is a semi-fitting comparison of fruits with breast sizes. According to it, you can imagine the common cups roughly like this:
AA cup: plum
A-cup: Lemon
B-cup: Orange
C cup: Grapefruit
D-cup: Cantaloupe melon
Double D-cup: Honeydew melon

By the way: You can also get larger breasts without surgery. You should be aware of this before you go under the knife for a breast augmentation! Breast reduction is, of course, a different matter.

All in all, you should not just let pictures or before/after comparisons of other women decide which breast size and breast shape would be ideal for you. For this, a discussion with the doctor performing the procedure is urgently necessary, who will advise you on what would best suit your size and figure. For this purpose, he will also give you various inserts for the bra, with which you can try out the breast volume. For example, if you are very slim and petite, then breast size C may look unnatural. On the other hand, if you are somewhat stronger, then the cup size can be proportionally larger. In the end, the most important thing is that the result looks natural and harmonious.
B-cup, C-cup or something else? How to calculate your natural cup size?
In general, if you want to measure your own cup size before looking for other sizes (or the right bra), you need to do the following:
First, measure your underbust measurement. Place the tape measure around your back and bring it together horizontally at the front, just below the bust.
Now it's time to measure your upper chest: loop the tape measure straight around your chest again and this time place it at the highest point so that you have the measurement for the widest part of your bust.
Now subtract the centimetres of the underbust circumference from the upper bust circumference. This will give you the height of your bust rise and the cup you need.
The cup sizes are divided as follows:
10 to 12 cm: cup size AA
12 to 14 cm: cup size A
14 to 16 cm: cup size B
16 to 18 cm: cup size C
18 to 20 cm: cup size D
20 to 22 cm: cup size E
... and so on!
