Why You Should Avoid Wearing Underwear at Night
In bed, it's better to skip the underwear; otherwise, it can get uncomfortable. We all love putting on cozy pajamas and snuggling under a fluffy blanket, but there's one thing we should skip: underwear.
Underwear is a No-Go at Night
Especially for women, it's advisable to sleep without underwear at night because snug-fitting panties can restrict the ventilation of your intimate area. In the worst-case scenario, it could lead to a vaginal yeast infection. Even after sex, it's best to skip the undies down there and thoroughly clean and dry your vagina.
The Reason is Clear
In a warm and moist environment, bacteria and yeast thrive. This insight comes from Dr. Twogood, a professor of gynecology at the University of Southern California's "Keck School of Medicine," in an interview with "Health" magazine. So, it's better to avoid air-tight clothing to prevent vaginal yeast infections. This doesn't mean you have to sleep naked; you can comfortably wear loose-fitting pajama pants or a nightgown.
Don't Forget to Change Your Underwear Daily
Also, make sure to change your underwear every day because this is what happens when you don't change your underwear daily.
