What Is a Full Coverage Bra?

Today we're talking about full coverage bras, and we're going to go through, what is a full coverage bra, what its features are, and what to look for, and then at the end, we're going to share. Now, before we dive in, remember, like, and subscribe, okay, so, full coverage bras, now, what makes it unique, what makes it different from other bras, the whole thing, and what its name might be. Full coverage, meaning the cups, will completely cover the breast tissue on your chest, so unlike plunge bras and smocked bras, where the bra only covers a portion of your chest, full coverage will do the trick. To be exact, it covers your breasts completely.

Now we're talking about cups. You can see, you know, this bra is a little bit bigger on the mannequin, but this completely covers her entire breast. She wouldn't have, if this was a person, wouldn't have any extra. Let's make a simple comparison, I have a bustier bra, and that's a good comparison. In bustier bras, you have more than a half cup to a quarter cup to cover your breasts. Let's see if I line this up. You can see that when you wear a full-coverage bra, you get much more coverage than a plunge bra. Another feature of full-coverage bras, and why so many women like them, is that they remove that kind of quadrant called a breast. When you wear a plunge bra, a strapless bra, or a demi-bra again, the tops of the cups can cut into your skin and then squeeze out the breast tissue, sometimes especially if you're wearing one.

Sometimes, especially if you're wearing tight clothes or shirts, you can have this little indentation that looks like you have normal breasts and then has this fake mini-breast at the top of each breast, creating the illusion that you have four breasts or a total of four breasts. Full-coverage bras take away that illusion because they put everything about your breasts in the cups, so if you want full coverage, that's really the way to go. The other thing about full-coverage bras is that some of the other bras lack a lot of the time. If we look at, as I turn the mannequin, we can see that this has a very thick band that provides support even in the back, even on the hook and eye clasp. We can see that this is a very thick band, and it provides a lot of support for your chest. It also relieves any pain you might have in your back, plus a nice thick, durable band that makes it comfortable.

One of the reasons that you might choose this type of bra, now, is if you do want a more modest option when it comes to bras, you know, a lot of bras, in particular, think like, your push-up bra or even some t-shirt bras, well, because they do allow a little bit. You know, if you have larger breasts, you're naturally going to have more of a cleavage line. If you're wearing low-cut clothes, you may show too much, which may not be appropriate for certain environments. If you're wearing a full bra, you won't have this problem because it has great coverage. Now keep in mind that the downside of a full bra is that sometimes it's difficult to wear low-cut tops or dresses. So if you want to wear a low-cut dress but want full coverage, you'll have to test out a few different bras that might be available, and you can also do little things like gluing the bra to your shirt. If you really want to wear a shirt and don't want to wear anything other than a full-coverage bra. Still, full coverage is the way to go if you want a comfortable, modest option.

Hmm. Another advantage of a full coverage bra is that, unlike a minimizer bra, you might look at it and think it looks similar to a minimizer bra. It does from the beginning, you know. If you want to know what a minimizer bra is, watch our video where we dive into this and share about who is the best and why you would wear it. Still, one of the key features of a minimizer bra is that it flattens your breasts and makes you. If you like the size of your breasts and want to flaunt them, but you still want the full coverage look, you will want a full coverage bra, not a minimal bra, and often, a full coverage bra will come with that. Padding, you know they, you'll sometimes see full coverage, combined with other styles of bras, for example, you can have a, a t-shirt full coverage bra, it's, going to have all the light you know, padding, you know some really great, lingerie just a comfortable bra.

But. You may already have a full-coverage bra, but you're buying a bra to make it something else, so you may already have a full-coverage bra, but you're buying full-coverage bra. You know, full coverage is just one of those extra features that that bra might eventually have, okay, so who is a full coverage bra actually, the best, well, you know, at the end of the day, it's, really the best for women with large breasts, so if you are, D. A full coverage bra is great because it gives you full coverage, does that mean if you're largely breasted you can't wear push-up bras or t-shirt bras? However, we've seen that full coverage, um, styles that women with larger breasts tend to, tend to, because it does, help cover a little bit more, but again it's not necessarily flattering like a straight minimizer bra would be, you can get full coverage bras in anything. So if you're an A cup, even if you don't have much, anyway, you know there are bras that do have, in a small B cup style that are full, coverage again if you really want that modest look, um, or if you find that normal bras just sort of dig in. Suppose you find that a normal bra digs into your chest a little bit, causing the appearance of quads. In that case, a full coverage bra is a great way to reduce the occurrence when you can wear this type of bra. As I shared, you're better off wearing it when you have it because of how high it goes up your neck. Shirts with high collars, or shirts that basically don't sink into your chest, for example, the shirt that I'm wearing today would not be appropriate for a full bra because you might start to see the cups poking out of my chest, you know if you. Honestly, a full bra is your best friend in the colder months when you're wearing a sweater or a larger-size shirt.

Plus, we've seen these really popular just if you're lounging around like these. Bras are very comfortable. They come in a variety of different materials. Still, you can see materials like this one because it feels like it's a very stretchy, comfortable, uh, a real piece of fabric, so if you're lounging around, on the weekends, running errands, you're not. If you're hanging out on the weekend, running errands, and you don't care if you're cute. You want to wear this bra, it's great because it's very comfortable. You really get a lot of support from this center, from this band that wraps around your back all the way around, okay, so. That's the full-coverage bra; we cover what it is, some of the defining features when you wear this type of bra, and what you should look for.
